This project consisted of 14 individual panels that make up the double doors and the side wall panels to the entrance of the new chapel. The client wanted a design that was serene and uplifting. Privacy was also a requirement. We proposed a design of dogwood trees, one in flower and one in leaf, flanking the doors. For the center focal area we settled on the symbolism of sunflowers that follow the sun just as Christians follow the Son. The life cycle is also represented in the flowers going from bud to mature seed pod. Many small creatures can be found in the frens that run along the bottom panels.
